Lucky Last Slot by RGT
There are almost as many Irish Luck themed slots out there as there are Ancient Egyptian themed ones.
Lucky Last is another of these, developed by Real time Gaming or RGT. This slot does stand out from the crowd a bit however due to its double progressive jackpots as well as pretty decent graphics and animations.
Lucky Last has the usual five reels and twenty five adjustable paylines. For as little as 0.01 and going all the way up to 5 for a coin value, players can dip their toes into Lucky Last and try to win one of the jackpots. This also means that the game will appeal to a very wide range of players. Those of all budgets can tailor make the paylines and coin denominations to either hit big and hard or be much more cautious. The simple layout and decent graphics will appeal to new players, as will the jackpots appeal to experienced ones.
Irish luck Theme
Lucky Last is all about chasing the pot of gold under the rainbow. That old Irish folklore about the leprechaun who grants wishes and hides a pot of gold coins that you can get to if you are lucky enough. This is a very bright slot which carries off the theme quite well. The symbols are all theme based and drawn nicely so as not to look dated and washed out. The overall colours are green and gold with a lot of detail having gone into the feel. Each reel is edged in gold filigree, behind which is a pretty detailed scene of a snow capped mountain and a rainbow. All graphics are crisp and clear and very modern.
RGT put quite a lot of effort into Lucky Last in the way of symbols. They are all theme based and involve lucky charms such as horse shoes, lucky sevens, toadstools and the leprechauns pipe. The leprechaun himself is of course found on the reels, and awards the biggest line payout for five of him in a row from left to right on an active payline.
The game has two special symbols which are of course also theme related. The gold coin wild appears only on reels one and five, and can replace all other symbols in the game except for the scatter. This wild also carries a two times multiplier which means that it doubles the total payout of any wins that it forms a part of.
The scatter is the ever present symbol of Irish luck, the four leaf clover or shamrock. This pays out scatter wins for two or more and can be found anywhere on the reels. Three or more of them also launch the free spins round.
Lucky Last has two main features. The first is the free spins which is triggered by two or more shamrock scatters. You are given seven free spins, which can be retriggered on the last spin. This has a 50 per cent chance success rate, and can happen for a total of five times.
The last feature is the double progressive jackpots. These are triggered randomly and do not need anything to happen first. Each jackpot has a minimum value, and grows as you play the game.
